The guys from the Wild East, bringing a laid-back, funky street bistro vibe to Miskolc’s main street.
As proud locals from Miskolc, we’ve been doing gastronomy in the heart of the city for more than 13 years with A LEVES and BURGER. From the very beginning, our goal was never just to create another restaurant, but a relaxed, youthful, funky meeting spot where great food, great people, and a great atmosphere come together.
At our place, a hearty brunch, a brutal burger, an exciting daily menu, an authentic Asian ramen, or even some BBQ vibes can easily coexist side by side. We love playing with flavors, constantly experimenting with new dishes, organizing pop-up nights, and taking part in various gastro events and festivals.
Over the years, several national and international gastronomic guides have recognized the hard work we put into this place, and we’re incredibly grateful to both our team and our guests for that.
After being listed among Hungary’s Top 100 alternative restaurants for several years, it was an even bigger honor to be ranked as the country’s 2nd best burger place in the Street Kitchen Guide 2026. On top of that, we were also included among the recommended restaurants of the French Gault&Millau guide.

Borkonyha
Borkonyha opened its doors in 2010 under the leadership of owners Tamás Horváth, Zoltán Kalocsai, and Chef Ákos Sárközi. Its style combines a French bistro with a contemporary Hungarian family restaurant. Borkonyha was first awarded a Michelin star in 2014, which it has retained ever since. Textúra opened in 2018, where Ákos’s experimental and playful style can unfold more freely. Both restaurants are defined by a fusion cuisine that combines Hungarian traditions and local ingredients with modern international gastronomy. Cvekedli Tésztabár
Although we also made food in Michelin-starred restaurants around the world, we had to realize that it was good at home, but best at home. So we moved back to our hometown, Nyíregyháza, where we would like to bring our recipes we have learned, experienced and perfected over the years, spiced with local flavors and local ingredients, to everyone. In Cvekedli - true to its name - the well-known Hungarian pasta dishes come to the pasta fans in rethought, but in Hungarian portions and at Hungarian prices (and if you weren't a pasta fan, then you will be). No one leaves here hungry!

Horgonyzó Kisvendéglő
The Horgonyzó Kisvendéglő is a charming family restaurant hidden among the 50-year-old trees of the ancient holiday resort area in Tiszalök, led by head chef Attila Takács. The two owners, Andi Kecskés and Tamás, do everything they can to make every guest feel at home — whether seated on the front terrace, in the elegant garden area at the back, or beside the fireplace during the winter months. Szomszéd Bistro in Debrecen is a real meeting point where it is good to eat, drink and talk. Trakta by Nomád- Noszvaj "Did grandma cook this? No, it was the chef… but it tastes just like grandma’s cooking!" – we overheard at a table in Trakta Restaurant... That’s no surprise, since many of our ingredients come straight from our own garden, grown without chemicals, and we strive to use produce from Noszvaj and its surroundings. We represent a culinary style that respects tradition but refreshes it with a cheeky twist. Our motto: Eat well – feel good... It’s no coincidence that we are founding members of the “Stílusos Vidéki Éttermiség” (Stylish Countryside Restaurants) movement. Delivering high-quality cuisine in our Noszvaj restaurant is of utmost importance to us. DiVino Debrecen
Since 2014, we have been a key player in Debrecen’s wine scene. Although we closed our downtown location after 10 years, our commitment to wine culture remains unchanged. We believe in the value of Hungarian wine and in the fact that refined wine consumption is inseparable from quality gastronomy. These values have defined our approach from the very beginning, and we continue to move forward guided by them.
Dolce Bolla Prosecco & Bar
Built on the iconic Italian Piaggio Ape, our mobile bar features three taps suitable for serving soda water, prosecco, and beer. We also offer bottled prosecco and champagne. In addition, guests can enjoy prosecco-based spritz cocktails made with Italian liqueurs, refreshing gin and tonics, as well as a selection of non-alcoholic soft drinks including homemade syrups, lemonades, mineral water, and homemade iced tea.
Hübris
This brewery is 100 % Hungarian owned one located in Székesfehérvár. The fermentation capacity is 40,000 litres and 12 types of beer are available for our consumers.
Nagyerdei Pálinkaműhely
Nagyerdei Pálinkaműhely is the only known fruit spirit enterprise in Debrecen, which aims to present the original Hungarian palinka beverage and to be part of the local gastronomy. We continuously strive to procure and process the most delicious fruits and to make the final product carefully with our best knowledge. Our services are taking part of the local festivals, holding professional presentations, and organizing group tasting events to individuals as well as to companies. We believe that every single drop of a well-made palinka is a moment of savor.
Sáppusztai Pálinka
The Sáppusztai Pálinka Distillery is a family-run distillery that has been in operation since 2005 on a historic estate 20 km from Miskolc. Since 2012, we have been present on the market with our own brand of premium pálinkas, representing uncompromising quality. Our pálinkas and spirits are made from excellent domestic fruits using modern technology under the guidance of an expert master distiller.
As part of the National Pálinka Excellence Program, our distillery won the “2024 Most Successful Gin and Other Spirits Producer” award, and in 2024 our Yellow Vilmos Pear Pálinka, and in 2025 the “2025 Most Successful Pálinka Distillery” award.
As the most successful distillery in the history of the Quintessence International Pálinka and Distillate Competition, we have won numerous gold and champion awards. Following 2024 and 2025, our distillery once again received the title of “2026 Best Commercial Distillery,” awarded to the competition’s overall winner, in 2026. For the tenth time, we are filling the heart of the Great Forest with flavors, aromas, and unforgettable experiences at Debrecen’s largest gastronomic and cultural event – and in 2026, we are dreaming bigger than ever before!
The theme of 2026: FLAVORS OF THE WORLD

In addition, 2026 is the International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralists, so we are placing the spotlight on the ancient knowledge and traditions that shape food culture and gastronomy around the world. At the festival, flavors connected to pastoral culture will be presented in both modern and traditional forms.
Our program features the Michelin-starred Borkonyha Restaurant, as well as renowned chefs such as Eszter Palágyi, Ákos Sárközi, and Roy (Netherlands). In the creative container kitchen, we will showcase innovative reinterpretations of flavors, while visitors can also enjoy World Cup matches on the LED wall mounted on the container.
Sunday will focus especially on families, with workshops, children’s concerts, a book grove in collaboration with BOOOK Publishing, a kids’ corner, and delicacies from a “French-style” market awaiting visitors.
Our live music lineup is equally exciting: on June 12, Vasovszki Live; on June 13, Petra Gubik, Josh and Betti; while on June 14, Fruzsina Kovácsovics will create an unforgettable atmosphere.
The Debrecen Gourmet Festival therefore offers not only a unique experience for gastronomy lovers, but through its cultural and family programs also invites the entire city to join the culinary celebration.
